Partnering with the Indian Cultural Center of South Jersey and the India Temple Association, we were pleased to have our town's first Diwali Celebration. Celebrations like Diwali and other events we have put together are an important reminder that the people and organizations that comprise our town make it the number one community to live, work, and play in. #eveshamstrong #vch4evesham

2nd Juneteenth post - all from our 2022 Evesham Township Juneteenth Celebration.

We began the annual Juneteenth celebration in Evesham to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, examine systematic racism and inequality, celebrate the courage and strength of people who have fought for equality, justice, and humanity, and reflect on our humanity as we strive to improve our community. Juneteenth also serves as a source of inspiration and hope for our community now and into the future as we tackle the work that remains as we move toward a truly equal and humane society.

Celebrating and raising awareness began early for us by beginning our town's celebration of Pride Month and commemorating the 1969 Stonewall Riots. Working with and supporting groups such as Evesham Pride, Garden State Equality, and individuals helps bring vital awareness and inclusiveness for historically sidelined persons to our community.

Being the number one town in our region is not just about taxes and services - our community is great because of the people and organizations that contribute to our daily lives. Adding celebrations and events to bring people together and raise awareness has been important to us. #eveshamstrong #vch4evesham

Post 3/3 - National Night Out began with a sendoff celebration for our Marlton 10U baseball team, which is on its way to Indiana to participate in the Cal Ripken World Series. Congratulations and good luck to all of the athletes and their families!

Post 2/3 - Events like National Night Out, which was held last night, serve as a reminder about how so many people and groups, coming together, make our community the number one place to live, work, and play in South Jersey. Thank you to our Evesham Township Police Department, Evesham Fire-Rescue, and all of the community organizations, non-profits, businesses, and volunteers who put together an amazing National Night Out. #eveshamstrong #vch4evesham
